Not an LHDN e-Invoice

Malaysia is bringing in e-Invoicing through LHDN (MyInvois) in phases, by annual turnover or revenue, and smaller businesses below the threshold LHDN sets are exempt. A PrimerLedger invoice is a simple commercial invoice: it is not validated by LHDN and does not replace an e-Invoice where your business must issue one.

Check on the LHDN website, or with your accountant, whether e-Invoicing applies to your business.

Questions

Which currency are my invoices in?

Malaysian ringgit (MYR). Each business has one currency, set by the country you choose at sign-up.

Can I change my country later?

No. The country is fixed when you sign up, and with it the currency, so choose Malaysia carefully on the sign-up page.

Does PrimerLedger send my invoices to LHDN (MyInvois)?

No. PrimerLedger does not connect to any tax authority outside the Philippines. It makes a simple commercial invoice that you send to your buyer yourself.

What is not included?

PrimerLedger outside the Philippines is invoicing only. Expenses, payment tracking, reports, stock and online-shop orders are for Philippine businesses.
